Here the line was Bills +1 even though both teams come into this game 5-3 with three wins in each of their last four games overall.  In the last four years, these two teams have split wins and losses though Buffalo’s wins have been by significant margins with one of its two losses in overtime.

The Chiefs are 5-0 Against The Spread in their last 5 vs. AFC and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game.  The Chiefs are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games.

The Bills are 10-24-2 Against The Spread in their last 36 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games following a ATS win.

When it comes to fantasy players this week, Kansas City’s Alex Smith will face a team that limited him to a mere 4.3 yards per pass attempt (124 yards on 29 throws) last year and Buffalo is a much better team this season.  Sit Smith if you can.

The Bills Kyle Orton might not fare much better.  The Chiefs allow the sixth-fewest fantasy points (13.8 per game) to signal callers and have not given up more than 225 passing yards in any of the past six games.  The UNDER might make sense for this game with a number of 42.

The Chiefs Jamaal Charles has faced the Bills in each of the past six seasons with great success, totaling 669 yards and three touchdowns.  He’s also run for 6.4 yards per carry.  The Bills have permitted 40 fantasy points to opposing running backs over the past two weeks.
