Colts-Raiders Spread

The Colts-Raiders spread was listed at Oakland +3.   Close to 65 percent of those betting the spread were backing Indianapolis in this game.  Money line action was even.  85 percent of those betting the 47.5 total were on the OVER.

This is a critical matchup as both teams are looking to slip into the Playoffs.  Indianapolis chances are looking much better following a win over Jacksonville last week.  They cannot clinch a Playoffs spot this week but own the tie-breaker over the Jaguars with two more wins.

"The scenario has not changed," coach Jim Caldwell said. "If we get a couple of victories, we'll be in basically the same position."

Meanwhile, the 7-7 Raiders are having their best season in years.  They are technically still in contention for an AFC West division win, though it won’t come easy with both Kansas City and San Diego providing tight competition in this much improved division.

"It's a lot more fun," coach Tom Cable said. "Football is football. I love football. I love coaching. That part of it is never an issue for me. It's just more exciting. You get up and come to work and you're excited about getting into a new plan."

In order for the Raiders to make it into the post season, they will need to win their final two games.  They’ll also need the Chargers to lose one of their remaining two games and the Chiefs to lose this weekend against the Titans.
