Just to demonstrate how the lack of confidence oddsmakers and bettors have with the New York Jets, the Colts vs. Jets spread for Sunday’s game was coming in at -3 New York at home.  Hardly the line one would expect when facing a team that nearly went winless last season.   The spread action was completely balanced.

Despite Indianapolis’ lackluster performance last season, New York only managed to beat them by a single point.  Overall the Jets are 2-1 Straight Up against Indianapolis in the last three seasons.

The Colts are 1-5 Against The Spread in their last 6 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

Indianapolis is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win.

The Colts are 0-12 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

The Jets are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game.

The Jets are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
