Though the Colts beat the last undefeated team, the Kansas City Chiefs, by a score of 19-9, Peyton Manning didn't have a touchdown pass or throw for 300 yards. He had one of his worst games since 2008.
After being held to nine points in the first three quarters, the Colts scored 10 points in the fourth quarter.
Running back Mike Hart carried 11 times for 50 yards, both career-highs. He also helped carry the game for Indianapolis at home.
"Mike did a great job," Manning said after going 26-of-44 for 244 yards and one interception. "He had an interesting week practice wise. He got injured during the week and didn't know quite what was going to happen. Next thing you know, he comes out and does a heck of a job for us. That's why you've got to have depth. Everybody's got to be ready at any time."
Meanwhile, the Washington Redskins won their second straight week against a team with a winning record. In this case they beat the number one ranked Green Bay Packers.
Donovan McNabb threw for 357 yards, his 29th career 300-yard game.
An early stat to consider before betting on this game has little to do with the Colts vs. Redskins spread but rather the total and OVER, which will be 43 ½. 5 of 6 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL since 1992! – Dan Shapiro, Gambling911.com
