The Cowboys vs. Chargers betting line had San Diego as the favorite at -3.5 and getting most of the public action on the spread at an 80 percent clip.
Dallas covered the current spread the last time these two teams met in 2009 with San Diego winning by 3 points. The Cowboys beat San Diego four years prior to that matchup.
The Cowboys will be entering the 2012 regular season with some nice value to win an NFC East division that is essentially up for grabs. The payout would be $300 on a $100 bet or $30 on a $10 bet.
Despite all the hoopla surrounding the Denver Broncos acquisition of Peyton Manning, the Chargers remain a favorite by a nose (paying $150 for every $100 bet compared to $155 for every $100 bet on the Broncos).
Dallas was a -130 favorite to win UNDER 9 regular season games and would be EVEN odds to win OVER that number in 2012. San Diego is a -145 favorite to win UNDER 9 games with the OVER paying slightly better than EVEN odds.
