Ivan Perisic scored within the final three minutes.

Croatia is not a known commodity in the world of European soccer though they were listed among the teams with the ten shortest odds entering the Euro 2016 competition at 25-1 odds.

Croatia was now coming in with the 4th shortest odds at 7-1 to win the Euro 2016.  Some books still had them at 8-1 odds.

Croatia meet one of the best third-placed sides in Lens on Saturday.

Spain had been the big favorite to win the Group with only France and Germany listed with shorter odds of winning the Euro 2016.  Spain is currently listed at 5-1 odds to take the championship title.
