Indianapolis last beat Miami on the road by 4 points in 2009.  Both teams have improved since last year with the Dolphins winning their last three games, but more importantly, two of their 3 losses were in overtime.  Miami could conceivably be on a 6-game win streak at this time.

And it is hard to believe that these Colts barely won a game last season as they are now at 4-3 having won their last two games.  What looked like a game to skip on paper heading into this season might actually be one to look forward to.  The Dolphins, in particular, are very much in the hunt to win the AFC East.

When the line is between +3 and -3, the Dolphins have gone 13-6 Against The Spread over the past three seasons while the Colts are just 5-11 ATS.

Dolphins are 9-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

Dolphins are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.

Dolphins are 23-5 ATS in their last 28 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

Dolphins are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 vs. AFC.

Dolphins are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games overall.

Dolphins are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games following a SU win of more than 14 points.

In games played on turf over the past three seasons, Miami is an impressive 9-1 ATS.

Colts are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.

Colts are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.

Colts are 19-6-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
