Falcons-Colts Line

It’s surprising that this 0-7 Indianapolis team would only be a single digit dog at home.  The Falcons-Colts line has Indianapolis at +7.  90 percent of those betting the spread in this game were backing Atlanta.

Past stats are pretty irrelevant when it comes to this game as Indianapolis is a whole different team without Peyton Manning.

Could the Colts finally win?

The payout could be pretty sweet but considering the team, the value just isn’t there with the money line.  An outright win by the Colts pays $26.50 for every $10 bet or $265 for every $100 bet at BetOnline.com.

Is it worth betting Indianapolis?  Probably not.

Tony Bryant of BetOnline.com offered this: “After a couple of big losses, it may come as a surprise to some that the line for this game is only seven points, but perhaps that is to keep people guessing about the Falcons’ ability to put away Indianapolis in this position. The Colts have shown nothing that would suggest that they could keep it close with one of the top teams in the NFC, and while they haven’t been soaring the way they did last year to this point, thing appear to finally be coming together for a talented Atlanta team.”

Just a quick note, the Falcons would pay $1250 for every $100 bet should they win the NFC Championship this post season.
