Fantasy NFL Week 2 Rankings – Latest NFL Odds
The Fantasy NFL Week 2 rankings are in across the Net as we also have this week’s NFL betting odds posted below, courtesy of Bookmaker.eu.
Top 5 Quarterbacks Week 2:
*1 – Peyton Manning – “Manning completed 22-of-36 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Colts.”
*2 – Aaron Rodgers
*3 – Andrew Luck – From NFL.com: “Luck and the Colts scored a touchdown of their own before halftime, and then nearly erased a 31-10 deficit in the fourth quarter. Ultimately, the comeback bid fell just a bit short, though it undoubtedly gave Luck's fantasy owners plenty to be happy about.”
*4 – Drew Brees
*5 – Nick Foles
Top 5 Running Backs Week 2:
*1 – LeSean McCoy
*2 – Adrian Peterson
*3 – Matt Forte – FantasyPros.com writes: “Matt Forte showed his versatility in Week 1 as he tallied a solid fantasy performance both receiving and running the football. Forte is elusive in the open field and gained nice chunks of yardage running to the outside on short passes and as Cutler's checkdown receiver. He did however, have a bit of trouble trying to run up the middle today against the Bills. He was also held without a Touchdown. Going forward, Matt should continue to be a solid #1 Fantasy RB that is an integral part of the Chicago offense. In PPR and combined yardage leagues Forte is a beast that will continue to lead his fantasy owners to victory.”
*4 – Marshawn Lynch – From ESPN.com: “Lynch rushed for 110 yards against the Packers on Thursday. Lynch's 94 yards between the tackles was his highest total since the beginning of last season (including playoffs), according to ESPN Stats & Info. With the Seattle offensive line regularly blowing holes open and generally dominating the line of scrimmage, another successful day working the interior lanes is in line for Lynch facing a Chargers defense that has allowed 12 RB rushing TDs in the past 10 games.”
*5 – Jamaal Charles
Top 5 Wide Receivers
*1 – Calvin Johnson – NFL.com writes of Johnson: “Johnson caught seven passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 11 targets in Monday's 35-14 win over the Giants.
Analysis: Johnson caught touchdown passes of 67 and 16 yards in the first quarter, nearly adding another in the third. Both touchdowns were sparked by some excellent footwork by Matt Stafford, who played one of the more efficient games of his career. While obviously an elite option in any matchup, Johnson will have to deal with the Carolina Panthers defense next week. The Panthers aren't particularly strong in the secondary, but their front seven could give the Lions some trouble.”
*2 – Demaryius Thomas – FantasyPros.com says: ?Thomas is the clear #1 receiver in Denver and is a prime bounce back candidate against the Chiefs next week. Clearly an elite player, owners should not have any doubts about starting him every week.”
*3 – A.J. Green
*4 – Brandon Marshall
*5 – Julio Jones
