Florida Atlantic vs. Marshall Betting Line: Owls 14-3 Against The Spread

The Florida Atlantic vs. Marshall betting line had the Thundering Heard as a huge -28.5 home favorite.  This is a killer line but Marshall is 7-0 and they have won five of those seven games by more than the current 28.5 spread.

Marshall did face Florida Atlantic on the road last year for the first time as a -10 favorite and won by only a single point.

The Thundering Heard are mostly playing an underwhelming schedule and the Owls will probably help pad their record.   That being said, the Herd defense is ranked seventh nationally in points allowed (16.6 points per game).

The Owls are 14-3 Against The Spread in their last 17 road games and are 16-5 Against The Spread in their last 21 games following a ATS win.

The Thundering Herd are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 home games, 5-0 Against The Spread in their last 5 games following a ATS win and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game.

This one can be viewed on Fox Sports 1 at 3:30 pm ET.
