Bookmaker (BMaker.ag) is typically the first to post a line on a sporting event, however, football betting odds for the 2011-2012 season have been slow to show.

The reason is obviously waiting on news as it relates to the NFL lockout.  Bookmaker has yet to post odds on College Football though.

In business since 1986, Bookmaker is known for originating the lines on most American sports games, offering fast reliable payouts and allowing the highest maximum bets in the industry (though recreational sports bettors are more than welcome).

“Bookmaker’s posting of the first football lines will be symbolic,” noted Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  “It will pretty much provide the unofficial declaration that the NFL lockout is over for the sports betting community as a whole.”

On Friday July 22, NFL players were widely expected to sign a new players’ agreement that was approved unanimously by the NFL team owners.

Here were the forecasted odds to win the 2012 Super Bowl at Bookmaker.  These odds are subject to change and do not necessarily match the anticipated published odds.  Please visit the Bookmaker site to lock in current football betting odds for the 2011 – 2012 season as they become available here.
