The line on this game was Texas A&M -2.5 across the board.  The Aggies have won both games in this series over the past two years but only by a field goal in each of them.

Mississippi is 5-0 coming into this one against the Aggies 5-1.  The Rebels have not lost Against The Spread.

BetOnline.ag Analysis: “Sports fans might be watching the National League Championship Series Saturday night if they prefer playoff baseball, but this is a better game than Giants-Cardinals. Ole Miss shot to the top section of the rankings after knocking off Alabama and Nick Saban last week. Now, the Rebels have to show that they weren’t just good for one weekend. They need to go on the road to College Station, Texas, and defeat the Texas A&M Aggies, who are trying to pick up the pieces after losing to Mississippi State this past week. Ole Miss gets both Auburn and Mississippi State at home, and with LSU struggling, Ole Miss might be able to defeat the Tigers on the road. Should Ole Miss get past this game against Texas A&M, it will have a very strong chance of winning its first SEC West championship.

However, Texas A&M should be tough at home. The Aggies haven’t played a conference home game yet. They’ll be ready for this one, partly because they still have really difficult games ahead of them. If they lose this game, they can forget about a big bowl bid this season.”
