The highest scoring quarter betting odds for the Super Bowl 2015 were now available at BetDSI.com here, serving the sports betting community since 1997.  The below article pertains to the 2012 Super Bowl, which was now a distant memory.

Super Bowl XXXI between the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers featured the highest ever first quarter score total of 24 points.  The payout would be $300 for every $100 bet should the first quarter prove to be the highest scoring of the game.

Oddsmakers at BetDSI.com believe it will be the 2nd quarter that yields the highest score, paying $170 for every $100 bet.

Keep in mind that with blowout games, the 4th quarter could feature a lot of garbage time.  As such, this quarter may not feature a whole lot of scoring.  Likewise, past trends indicate the likelihood of this game ending with a field goal win.

That said, the 2nd and 4th quarters tend to take longer than the 1st and 3rd.  This is due to most of the timeouts being utilized and teams are also more inclined to score within the final two minutes of those quarters.

Gary Greene's Bluebook Sports Network broke down the scoring per quarter for the year 2010 and arrived at these percentages:

1st quarter: 18.4%

2nd quarter: 30.8%

3rd quarter: 21.4%

4th quarter: 28.9%

Overall, the offenses are anticipated to be explosive in this Super Bowl.  The total was coming in at 55
