Both these teams have paid out on 7 occasions each while USC sports a record of 8-4 and Nebraska 9-3.  The Cornhuskers will be playing with an interim coach after the firing of Bo Pelini and hiring of Mike Riley.

That dismissal has cast a shadow of uncertainty over the Huskers organization.  Pelini was 67-27 at Nebraska while Riley had a record of 93-80 at Oregon State.

"Biggest mistake you ever made," quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. tweeted. "Bo was the best coach I've ever had and I'll always appreciate the things you taught me."

Trojans coach Steve Sarkisian will look to avoid a five-loss campaign in his first season as coach but his team is 9-2 Against The Spread in their last 11 vs. Big Ten.

The Huskers have suffered through some defensive struggles this year, and the Trojans’ Cody Kessler (36 TD, 2 INT) has the accuracy and explosive weapons necessary to light fireworks, ESPN.com notes.

These two schools have not met since 2007.
