The Horned Frogs vs. Red Raiders betting line was at Texas Christian -5, suggesting a formidable matchup.

Texas Tech has beaten the Horned Frogs in two of the last three meetings in three seasons though TCU crippled them last year 82-27.  Both teams come into this one undefeated so far this season.

TCU will have much on the line for a team that entered the season third favorites to win the 2016 College Football Championship game.

Texas Tech averages 54.3 points, tied for third in the country but are 0-4 against ranked opponents since 2014.

The Red Raiders have captured the last four meetings with TCU playing at home, however.

"Everybody's better when they play at home," TCU head coach Gary Patterson said. "They've got a sellout and they're playing really well and they're 3-0. Good teams create their own magic."

The Horned Frogs are 4-0 Against The Spread in their last 4 games following a ATS loss and

9-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

They are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 conference games and 14-4 ATS overall.

The Red Raiders are 5-0-1 ATS overall and 3-0-1 ATS at home.
