As a favorite of 21.5 to 31 points, the Buckeyes have gone 4-0 Against The Spread over the past three years.

Ohio State is on the verge of matching its Big Ten record for consecutive regular-season victories.

"We aren't looking past nobody, because that's how you get beat," said safety Travis Powell, referring to the Illini’s 4-4 record and a faceoff against number 8-ranked Michigan State. "We take every opponent seriously; when you go in there and think you can just slap somebody to win, that's when you get in a fight. ... Nobody should even be thinking about Michigan State at this point."

OSU has managed to beat Illinois by more than the current spread in two of their last five meetings since 2009.

The Fighting Illini are 2-11 Against The Spread in their last 13 road games and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
