Indianapolis Colts vs. Chicago Bears Line Steady as Brian Urlacher Vow to Play W

Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher insists he will be playing in Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Colts, although this news has done little to move the betting line, which remained pat at Bears -9.5 at BetOnline.

Urlacher returned to practice this week after re-injuring his knee a couple of days after the start of training camp.

"He had a good first day back," Bears head coach Lovie Smith said. "He's got to get in shape, I'm sure he'll tell you that. But we didn't have any trouble with him today so he's right back on schedule."

"He did everything we asked him to do. He was one of the guys. You forgot that he's been out. When we're playing No. 54 has been out there for so long, today it was just back to the normal routine as much as anything."

This game is seeing balanced action on both sides of the spread though Chicago is a public favorite to win the 2013 Super Bowl at 18/1 odds with nearly 8 percent of the betting action on this particular future option.  Only Denver had more action at 8.5 percent.

The Bears were getting 33 percent of the betting action to win the NFC North with a payout potential of $21.50 on every $10 wagered.  Green Bay was getting 30 percent of the action as the favorite at nearly 1/2 odds.
