Jaguars-Texans Week 1 Line – What to Bet
The Jaguars-Texans Week 1 line was coming in at Houston -5.
Houston has won nine of ten as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points outright over the last three seasons and has gone 8-2 Against The Spread.
Jacksonville, on the other hand, has gone 3-10 outright as an underdog within this range. They have covered nine of thirteen as a 3.5 to 9.5 dog though and are showing signs of improvement. It should be noted that Houston managed to go 5-1 against its division foes.
The Jacksonville quarterback situation is still an issue, but so too is Houston’s.
The Texans covering a line of 5 is an okay bet but not one of our favorites.
