The New York Jets odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl had been listed at +1600 prior to word that former San Diego Chargers and 2006 NFL MVP RB LaDainian Tomlinson had signed with the team. By Monday night, most online sportsbooks had taken down the 2011 Super Bowl odds and an update was expected by Tuesday, however, one can expect the Jets Super Bowl odds to potentially be in the single digits.
Tomlinson was released by the Chargers on Feb. 22 and also paid a visit to the Minnesota Vikings before ultimately deciding on the Jets.
