Jets vs. Redskins Line

The Jets vs. Redskins line had New York as a -1 road favorite though some online sportsbooks had them at -3.  Nearly 70 percent of those betting the spread were backing the Jets at -3.  Bet this one at BetOnline.com.  Receive up to $900 in FREE CASH

The Jets are 10-4 Against The Spread vs. a team with a losing record.

The Jets are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games.

The Redskins are 4-10-7 ATS in their last 21 games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0.

With Washington losing 6 of their last 7, it is difficult to fathom how the Redskins can only be a +1 underdog.  To us that seems like a steal against a team that has won 4 of their last 6 and is 6-5…not to mention the Jets are in desperation mode and need to win their last games to make the post season.

Something important to remember is that Gambling911.com noted prior to the Denver game there was little chance of the Jets winning that Thursday night battle on little rest in the high altitude of Denver.  Their other loss was against top team New England.

Tony Bryant of BetOnline.com says:  “It’s doubtful that the Jets will continue to tumble. Coach Rex Ryan’s team usually rebounds in December to get the fifth or sixth wild card spot in the AFC playoffs. The Jets can’t be trusted to win division titles, but they can be trusted to win 10 games per season.”

This one should be the New York Jets.  That’s the Gambling911.com pick – Jets -1.

The head coach search has become somewhat clouded in Jacksonville and Las Vegas considering one dismissed its GM yesterday and the other hired a GM on Wednesday. Both potentially open the door for Liam Coen should he not sign extension with the Bucs.
