Two identical lines could be found on the Patriots-Bucs and Eagles-Steelers preseason games for August 18.  Both home teams were listed at -2.5.

For sports bettors looking to wager on New England vs. Tampa Bay, the betting public is correct when moving the money line in NEW ENGLAND games 0% of the time over the past 3 seasons.  As such, the edge goes to Tampa Bay.

The Bucs dismantled Kansas City 25-0 while New England beat Jacksonville 47-12.  Tom Brady was expected to see some action in this Thursday night game.

The Don Best website noted that head coach Andy Reid has stated that Eagles starters will likely play an entire half after being limited to 15 minutes of action in a 13-6 home win over the Baltimore Ravens the previous week.

Philadelphia is 12-27 Against The Spread in games where the line is +3 to -3 since 1993.
