The tone for the game against Arsenal was set by Liverpool with a goal scored in the first minute of regulation.

With 13 games remaining Chelsea are top with 56 points followed by Arsenal on 55, Manchester City with 54 and Liverpool on 50.

"Everything about our game was incredible today, it was an amazing performance against an outstanding team. The title has not been a target but we are improving and everything we did today was outstanding," said Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers.
Wenger said: "It was a very poor day. It raises some questions today because we were caught many times and were naive."
Odds of Liverpool winning a championship were cut by more than half by Saturday afternoon.  They had been as high as 25-1. Chelsea was at 5-1, Man City 4-1, Arsenal 5-1 and Everton 6-1.
