The much anticipated Liverpool v. Manchester United resulted in a 2-1 win by Manchester, which places them back on top of the Premiere League standings.

Manchester United came from a goal down to defeat Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford and move into first place. Fernando Torres scored after five minutes but Wayne Rooney netted the rebound after his penalty was saved and Park Ji-sung headed home in the second half.

Park Ji-sung headed home the winner after an hour when he came through a crowd of bodies to finish Darren Fletcher's superb cross.
