The LSU vs. Arkansas spread was listed at Arkansas -3.5 even though Louisiana State is ranked higher than the Razorbacks at number 6.  Arkansas is still a strong ranked 12.  Spread action on this game was even but most of the money line action was going towards LSU.  The OVER 54.5 was getting almost all the total betting action.

The previous five meetings between these teams have been decided by a total of 13 points, with two of the previous three going to overtime.  Arkansas has covered the spread in the last three games in this series and 4 of the last 5.

"I like the position that we're in," LSU head coach Les Miles said. "As we get to the back end of the season we have a lot to play for and that's a wonderful thing."

Some important betting trends to consider for the LSU vs. Arkansas game are:

The Tigers are 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0.

The Tigers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a Straight Up win. The Razorbacks, on the other hand, are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games following a S.U. win.

The Tigers are 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games in November.

The Razorbacks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite.

The Razorbacks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games.

Arkansas is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

The Razorbacks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
