Miami vs. Ohio State

For those looking to bet on the total receiving yards totals for Wednesday's Cotton Bowl Classic between Miami and Ohio State, BetUS has you covered (in business since 1994)

Jeremiah Smith (OSU) was listed with an over/under of 81.5 total receiving yards.

His 2025 Season (through 12/26/2025) stats included the following:

  • Games: 12
  • Receptions: 80
  • Receiving Yards: 1,086
  • Yards per Catch: 13.58
  • Receiving Touchdowns: 11
  • Rushing Attempts: 2 for 20 yards and 1 rushing TD
  • Punt Returns: 1 for –6 yards
  • Total Points: 72 (6.0 per game)

This made him one of the top receivers nationally in 2025 and a central offensive weapon for Ohio State.

The Buckeyes player will face his home team Miami.   The Hurricanes were hoping to land Smith.

“You could say there’s a little bit of a emotion. I’m from Miami, grew up in Miami, from Miami Gardens, so you can say there’s emotion going against my hometown team,” Smith was saying nearby. “At the end of the day, I’m happy for those guys to be here, and for me to play against them.”

Malachi Toney (MIA) comes in with a receiving yards total of 62.5.

Toney caught five passes for 22 yards and one touchdown while rushing for three yards on one attempt during Saturday's 10-3 win versus Texas A&M.

Carnell Tate (OSU) is listed with an over/under receiving yards total of 72.5 for Wednesday's big bowl game.

Tate reeled in all four targets for 45 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 13-10 defeat versus Indiana.
