The Michigan State vs. Iowa spread had moved down a half point late Wednesday at SBG Global to -6 in favor of the home team Hawkeyes.  The line has remained remarkably steady elsewhere.  65 percent of the spread action was on Michigan State as of Wednesday night.

This is likely the Spartans' last big test since no ranked teams are left on the schedule after the Hawkeyes. Michigan State has not won at Iowa since 1989.

Scouts Inc. offered its prediction on the Michigan State vs. Iowa game:

Michigan State has had a magical season to this point but the Spartans' run will come to an end this week. An underrated passing attack and commitment to the ground game will keep Michigan State within striking distance, but Iowa's defensive front will slow the run and apply enough pressure for the Hawkeyes to carve out a narrow lead. On the other side of the ball Robinson will keep the Iowa offense on track and Stanzi will continue to take what the defense gives him. Factor in home-field advantage and Iowa recovers from its disappointing home loss to Wisconsin and comes out on top.

They say Hawkeyes by 4 points, but that would not be enough for them to cover the spread.
