Some of the best payouts can be achieved through betting on the Final Score Margin of specific games such as Michigan vs. Alabama.  These are found on the Sportsbook.com page under FOOTBALL > NCAA FOOTBALL PROPS.  I personally always love to come back and check on these odds to see what the payout would have been after the final score is determined.

The Crimson Tide is a favorite to win by 14 points or more, so why not bet the Margin of Victory for Alabama at 14-17 points paying out $45 on every $10 bet instead of having to pay for vig with a straight wager (or you can always do both like I often do).

Last year, in two of three games where the Crimson Tide were favorites of between -10 and -19, they won by 16 and 17 points, respectively.

At home last year, Alabama won their first two games by 41 points each.  Four of five games at home (besides the LSU loss) were won by 24 or more points.  The 26 or more points Margin of Victory line for Alabama pays $50 for every $10 bet.

Michigan’s only two losses last season were on the road in Iowa and Michigan State.  These losses were by 8 and 14 points, respectively.  As such it is hard to imagine the Wolverines losing by more than the 14-17 point Margin of Victory.  However, that might be a good spot (14-17 points paying $45 for every $10 bet).

Five of last year’s Alabama wins fell within 6 points of the spread assigned by oddsmakers while Michigan’s first two games and one of Alabama’s first two games fell within three points of the spread last season, again making that 14-17 point Margin of Victory betting option mighty enticing

A close game within three points won by the Crimson Tide would pay out $100 on a $10 bet.
