Michigan, Wisconsin Odds to Win Big 10 Conference 2012

Both the Michigan Wolverines and Wisconsin Badgers odds to win the Big 10 Conference 2012-2013 were set at 2/1 and +150, respectively.  The later would pay out $15 for every $10 bet and this appears to be where most of the money was going early on.

Over 40 percent of those betting on the Big 10 Conference were backing Wisconsin.  By contrast, a mere 14 percent were putting their money on Michigan.

The Wolverines still have some solid value, as per NationalChamps.net:

Two reasons exist as to why Michigan turned around the program so quickly and posted a 10-2 regular season in 2011...quarterback Denard Robinson and Head Coach Brady Hoke.

Denard Robinson owns the top six total offense games in school history. In 2010 he set the NCAA record for most rushing yards by a quarterback (1,702). If he can limit the number of interceptions, he will be in New York next December as a Heisman Finalist.

Other odds to win the Big 10 included: Indiana at 50/1, Iowa at 14/1, Michigan State at +750 for a payout potential of $75 on every $10 bet and a team that deserves a closer look to be certain, Minnesota at 70/1, Nebraska at near 4/1 odds, also deserving of a closer look and Purdue at 45/1 odds.
