Navy vs. Houston Betting Line Shifts Five Points

Friday night’s Navy vs. Houston game opened at Houston -1 though few books were offering a number until mid-week, for which time the line had shifted all the way to Navy -4.5.

The Midshipmen have lost just one game this season and so too has Houston.

Houston’s quarterback Greg Ward Jr. may not be in the best condition coming into this game, though he is slated to play.

Ward rolled his ankle during a 35-34 win over Memphis on Nov. 14, and the junior quarterback played just a handful of snaps during Saturday's 20-17 loss at UConn.

Navy (9-1, 7-0) will try to match a program record for wins and start 10-1 for the first time since 1905.  They are also coming off of three straight blowout wins.

The head coach search has become somewhat clouded in Jacksonville and Las Vegas considering one dismissed its GM yesterday and the other hired a GM on Wednesday. Both potentially open the door for Liam Coen should he not sign extension with the Bucs.
