The losses of BenJarvus Green-Ellis, OL Matt Light and DT Mark Anderson should be offset by some great new additions, including Donte Stallworth and Jabar Gafney, both of whom will give the Pats great depth at wide receiver.
There is little to suggest this team will be any worse than last season’s solid Patriots team. If anything, they could actually have improved. With one of the softest schedules in the league (quite possibly the easiest, at least on paper), the Patriots have little excuse to flounder, barring another Tom Brady season-long injury.
Whether such a weak schedule works in their favor to help them win a Super Bowl is an entirely different story. An AFC Championship at near 3/1 odds could be a good bet, however.
Additional odds on the New England Patriots included:
New England Patriots odds to win the 2012 AFC East: -650
New England Patriots regular season win total: OVER 12 -125/UNDER 12 EVEN

The only over .500 team they play on the road outside of the division competition are the Ravens. The -125 actually is not a bad price either.
