New York Jets 2015 Season Wins Total Odds Off Board: Gino Smith Broken Jaw

New York Jets starting quarterback Gino Smith is expected to be out 6 to 10 weeks after suffering a broken jaw. Oddsmakers have since taken New York futures off the board including the season wins total. Get updated odds here.
Smith was sucker punched by teammate reserve linebacker IK Enemkpali, a sixth-round pick in 2014. Enemkpali was immediately released by the team.
"It was nothing to do with football. ... It was very childish," coach Todd Bowles said. "He got cold-cocked ... sucker punched, whatever you want to call it, in the jaw. He's got a broken jaw, a fractured jaw.
"The team knows it. It's something we don't tolerate, something we can't stand," Bowles added. "You don't walk up to a man and punch him in the face."
Smith was the presumptive starter. He will undergo surgery.
"It was something very childish, something sixth-graders could've talked about," Bowles said as to the reason for the attack. "It had no reason to happen. If they want to tell you what happened, they can tell you what happened. I told them I wouldn't say anything about it."
