Just a day after it was reported that the Cincinnati Bengals were in discussions to bring Terrell Owens (T.O.) to the team, now comes word that the New York Jets are considering signing the controversial player.

The Jets have contacted Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, and have debated the idea of bringing the high-profile wide receiver to training camp.

Such a deal is still considered a long shot.

The Cincinnati Bengals remain the favorite to sign Owens.

The Bengals are offering an incentive-laden contract, and they have told Owens, 36, he has until Wednesday to agree to a deal.

The Jets were at slightly better than even odds to win the AFC East at Sportsbetting.com.

The Bengals were at 3/1 odds of winning the AFC North.

Gambling911.com believes that a T.O. acquisition in Cincinnati will significantly improve that team’s chances of winning their respective division.
