Oddsmakers across Europe were quick to release odds on the next Queens Park Rangers manager after Harry Redknapp quit.  Tim Sherwood is the odds-on favorite.

The veteran English boss said he had made the decision because of an impending knee operation though QPR continues to struggle, having won just five league matches so far this season and rank second from the bottom in the League.

"I need immediate surgery on my knee which is going to stop me from doing my job in the coming weeks," said Redknapp, who arrived at Loftus Road in November 2012, in a club statement.

"If I can't give 100 percent, I feel it's better for someone else to take over the reins."

Odds on Sherwood ranged from 1/3 to 1/5.  Glenn Hoddle had the next shortest odds.
