NFL Week 2 Odds – Updated September 17

The Giants host New Orleans with a line opening at New York -4 and climbing a half a point to -4.5.
One of the hottest games on tap will be Cincinnati at Pittsburgh in a game that should determine the top team in the AFC North division. The Steelers were an EVEN odds favorite while Cincinnati was coming in at just shy of 2-1 odds.
Kansas City, which enjoyed an unprecedented come-from-behind victory versus San Diego last week, will face Houston on the road as a +2 underdog. This line has moved a half point off of +1.5.
The Jaguars and Packers, two teams that played one another last week, were each seeing the heaviest action on the point spread with Jacksonville getting 80 percent of the public backing as a +3 underdog in San Diego and Green Bay 85 percent of the backing in Minnesota as a -1.5 favorite.
Oddsmakers were attempting to encourage action on the Jags it appeared while refusing to cross over the critical number of 3. Oddsmakers were also pushing action Green Bay’s way.
