The Oakland Raiders odds of winning the 2018 Super Bowl were set at 18 /1 for a potential payout of $3500 on a $100 bet. They were priced at -115 to win UNDER 9.5 regular season games just days before their Week 1 game.

They're not going to go 8-1 in games decided by seven points or fewer again this season, but the Raiders will likely be a better team. The defense remains a work in progress, but the Raiders should get a full season out of potential superstar safety Karl Joseph, while third-year defensive lineman Mario Edwards Jr. -- who missed virtually all of 2016 -- profiles as a badly needed run-stopper on the edge up front if healthy and in shape. Even if the Raiders are entirely average in close contests, their true talent level could very well be good enough to win 10 or 11 games.
