Oregon was coming in with -265 odds to win the North Division, hardly a price worth betting. Yet it should be pointed out that 50 percent of the action on this particular future bet was going towards the Ducks. Stanford, which would pay $82.50 for every $10 bet or $825 on every $100 bet, was getting around 35 percent of the public action.
Washington was listed at 5/1 odds to win the NCAA North Division while California was coming in at 4.5/1. Some books had Washington as high as 8/1. Washington State was installed with 13/1 odds and Oregon State had 11/1 odds.
The PAC 12 South Division featured a huge -625 favorite in USC that was seeing 75 percent of the public betting action. Utah and Arizona were each coming in at 8/1 odds, UCLA was at 12/1, Arizona State was at 15/1 odds and Colorado was at 20/1 odds.
The PAC 12 West Division odds had Alabama and LSU each paying around $15 for every $10 bet. Arkansas was at 4/1 odds, Mississippi State at 8/1, Auburn 10/1, Ole Miss 20/1 and Texas A&M 25/1. Half the betting public was on the Alabama Crimson Tide here.
