Odds to Win the AFC West Division 2016 – San Diego Chargers
The San Diego Chargers odds of winning the AFC West division in 2016 were set at +650, which, all things considered, was not that bad. This will be among the most competitive divisions in the league and San Diego is right there in the thick of things.
With discussions about the Chargers leaving San Diego and their lackluster performance in recent years, San Diego is devoid of a true home field advantage. They’ve lost ten more at home than they’ve won since 2011 (15-25).
WalterSports believes this Chargers squad has enough talent to win but…and there is a very big BUT.
If the Chargers stay healthy, they can win the AFC West and make a deep push into the playoffs. That's a big "if," however, given San Diego's dubious injury history. It's more likely than not that several key San Diego players will go down, prompting the team to struggle as a result.
One thing is for certain, this is a franchise that will stay well under the radar at least the first half of the season. This could prove good for bettors on a weekly basis and the OVER 7.5 regular season wins might also provide savvy futures bettors with some solid value.
The Raiders were at 30-1 odds to win the Super Bowl.
