Odds to Win MAC East 2016: Bowling Green, Ohio, Akron
The odds to win the MAC East 2016 had a practical three-way tie as the favorites with Bowling Green at +220, Ohio at 3-1 and Akron at +340.
The Falcons are the defending MAC champs and have won 17 straight games against their fellow MAC East members. The bar is set pretty high for (head coach Mike) Jinks in his head coaching debut, but the system and the personnel on hand would seem to put Bowling Green in a strong position once again.

Terry Bowden has changed the culture at an Akron program that went 3–33 from 2010-12. The Zips went 5–7 in both 2013 and ’14 and then broke through with eight wins last fall.
