Odds to Win the PAC-12 South 2016: UCLA, USC, Utah

The odds to win the PAC-12 South had UCLA as a near 2-1 favorite, USC at +240 and Utah at +450.

UCLA will face it’s stiffest challenge on November 19 when it takes on USC.  The Trojans broke UCLA’s three-game Victory Bell win streak last November, handing Jim Mora his first defeat in the series.

Utah comes into this season hoping to play spoiler.

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham considers a 2015 Pac-12 South co-championship both an achievement for the program and a missed opportunity. The Utes regret November losses to Arizona and UCLA that kept them from overtaking USC in the standings and playing in the conference championship game, but they’ve advanced to a point where they’re in the conversation among the South’s contenders.“Nobody cares about being close; you’ve got to actually win it,” Whittingham says. “But we hope we’re a team that people take notice of every year.”

UCLA was coming in at 65-1 odds of winning the National Championship while USC actually had much shorter odds at 30-1.
