Oregon vs. LSU Line Moves to Ducks -1
After an opening line of -3 in favor of the Ducks, the Oregon vs. LSU line now had the Ducks at -1 at BetDSI.com. The line was off the board at most online sportsbooks late Tuesday.
The Ducks line in this game has been slashed by two points and taken off the board temporarily at some books as a result of Josh Huff being questionable due to a leg injury.
"I don’t know my status yet, but I’m working hard to get back," said Huff on Monday.
He exited practice in full pads, an ominous sign to be certain.
This is a neutral site game without a whole lot of trends that favor either side over the other. This is a bit of a difficult game in which to make a prediction based on past stats since neither side have met one another.
While there were plenty of off-the-field controversies involving Oregon, they could prove to be an offensively better team than that which landed in the BCS Championship game.
Richard Cirminiello of Scout.com regarding Saturday’s Oregon vs. LSU game:
“While it’s too early to call it a national championship elimination game, the loser will spend the rest of the year operating without a safety net. For Oregon, the trip to Arlington to play an SEC power also represents a chance to wow the portion of the national audience that’s only paid attention to it during the last two bowl losses.”
