They just barely snuck into the Playoffs, but the Green Bay Packers are now -2.5 favorites to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

Pittsburgh will be playing in its third Super Bowl in six years.  For the most of the second half of the season, the Steelers were among the top 3 favored teams to win the championship game in Dallas.  The Packers lost some steam due mostly to injury.

Gambling911.com sponsor and usually the first to release a line, Bookmaker.com, immediately posted the Packers as -2.5 favorites following the game.  TheGreek.com and Pinnacle Sports, both of which cater to professional sports bettors and wise guys, also released a line of -2.5 in favor of Green Bay.

TheGreek.com moved the line up to -3 fairly fast, indicating heavy wise guy action on the Packers.

Both Pinnacle and Bookmaker.com were still holding at -2.5 a half hour after the game’s conclusion.
