Rashard Mendenhall 2011 Super Bowl odds were available from Bookmaker.com.

His odds to be named Super Bowl MVP were set at +300, making him among the favorites after Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roethlisberger.  The payout would be $30 for every $10 bet.

Mendenhall is the favorite to score the first touchdown, also at 3/1 or +3000 odds.

The same odds were applied to Mendenhall recording the first reception for Pittsburgh.

The running back is being highly credited for helping the Steelers get to this year’s Super Bowl.

He rushed for just under 90 yards and a touchdown in the first half alone against the New York Jets in the AFC Championship game.

Expect Mendenhall to be used often as a weapon against Aaron Rodgers.

He was drafted by the Steelers 23rd overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.  To date, he has recorded 2,439 running yards.
