Ravens Odds to Win Super Bowl Doubled With Ray Rice ‘Wife Punch’ Video Released

The Baltimore Ravens odds of winning the 2015 Super Bowl have gone from 25-1 to 50-1 after that organization decided to terminate star running back Ray Rice following the release of a surveillance video showing him punch his then fiancé and drag her unconscious out of an Atlantic City casino elevator.
The incident occurred last February at the Revel Casino, resulting in a two-game suspension by the National Football Association. TMZ.com only published the video Monday, resulting in the Ravens termination of Rice.
Janay Palmer has since married Rice, a move widely seen as a way to prevent her from testifying against him. A wife cannot testify against her husband in the US court system with some states applying the law to both criminal and civil cases.
