Ray Lewis Out for Baltimore Ravens: AFC North Odds Wide Open
The Baltimore Ravens star linebacker Ray Lewis will be out for the rest of the season, it was reported by Jay Glazer of Fox Sports Monday. An MRI examination Monday revealed that Lewis had completely torn his triceps muscle.
Head coach John Harbaugh confirmed the report in a Monday news conference.
''Ray in the locker room afterward, we didn't know (the extent of the injury) but he was worried about it,'' Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday. ''He said some things about his faith. He said some things that I'll never forget.''
The Ravens had started to run away with the AFC North division following recent losses by the Steelers and Bengals. Now this is anybody’s division to win.
The Bengals are two games under Baltimore while Pittsburgh has disappointed thus far this season with a 2-3 record. The Steelers and Ravens were both co-favorites to win the division at the start of the season.
