The FIFA Confederations Cup, currently held every four years, features holders of each of the six (UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, CAF, AFC, OFC) regional championships as well as the FIFA World Cup holder and the host nation, to bring the number of teams up to eight.  Brazil, who won the last Championship, were kicked out by Paraguay and unable to defend their title.

Russia was coming in with 1/3 odds, New Zealand 10/1 and the Draw at 4/1.  90 percent of bets coming in were on Russia.

New Zealand has won three in their last six while the host nation has won two.  Both teams have two losses apiece.

This will be the first meeting between these two teams.

While Russia have kept a clean sheet in all of their victories since the Euro 2016, New Zealand have failed to score in more than half of their last five most recent games.

Three of five of Russia’s games and five of five of New Zealand’s have gone UNDER 2.5 goals.

Take the UNDER 2.5 here for 4/5
