Heading into Sunday’s Week 9 NFL card, Gambling911.com is looking at both the Saints vs. Panthers spread and the Bucs vs. Falcons spread as part of the NFC South game slate.

With New Orleans vs. Carolina, we find that the line opened at -6.5 in favor of the Saints and has essentially remained there all week with little variance.  The Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta line was a little more fluid with odds ranging between 8.5 and 9 in favor of the Falcons

The Saints were getting 90 percent of the spread action while the Bucs were getting 65 percent.  The OVER 40.5 was getting around 85 percent of the action in the Saints-Panthers game.  The OVER 45.5 was getting around 80 percent in the Bucs-Falcons game.  The Tampa Bay money line would pay out $33 for every $10 bet and more than 90 percent of the money line action was on the Bucs in this game.  Nearly 90 percent of the money line action in the Saints-Panthers game was going New Orleans way.

Some important Saints vs. Panthers trends to consider before betting on this game included:

Carolina has covered the last five in their series against New Orleans.  They have also covered 7 of the last 8 in this series. (edge: Panthers)

The Saints are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.

The Saints are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games as a favorite.  The Panthers are 8-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.  Carolina is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as a home underdog.  The Saints are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite of 3.5-10.0.  (edge: Panthers)

The Saints are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win.

The Saints are 0-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

The Saints are 1-5 ATS against the NFC South.   The Panthers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC South. (edge:  Panthers)

Some important Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta Falcons trends to consider before betting on this game include:

Tampa Bay has covered 5 of the last 6 in this series (edge: Buccaneers)

The Buccaneers are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games.  They are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a road underdog.  The Falcons, however, are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0.  Atlanta is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a home favorite.  The Falcons are 8-18-1 ATS in their last 27 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

The Buccaneers are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games on fieldturf.

The Buccaneers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week.

Tampa Bay is 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
