Of all the 2010 Week 1 NFL spreads, the San Francisco 49ers continue to be the least fluid at -3 as the road favorite in Seattle.  And yet Gambling911.com continues to emphasize that the 49ers are the second to third most bet on side in any game this Sunday with action well above 90 percent.

“Sportsbook.com reported 92 percent of the action flowing in on the San Francisco 49ers,” Gambling911.com Senior Reporter Carrie Stroup relayed with the 49ers/Seahawks game going off just after 4 pm EST.

Typically oddsmakers won’t go above the number 3 to encourage betting on the opposing side out of fear that they will get hit on both sides in the event of the game being won by a field goal.

“The spread on this game opened at San Francisco -1 so the books are vulnerable,” Stroup explains.

The line has been at either -2 ½ or -3 since the start of August at most of the Las Vegas sportsbooks.

The key to a 49ers win, according to the San Jose Mercury News: “Just pile up early yards. Lots of 'em”.

But here is yet another warning presented by that paper: “The Seahawks remain such a jumbled puzzle even as the Week 1 bell is about to ring that there's only so much game-planning the 49ers can do.”

Online sportsbooks, and Vegas as well, will be hoping for covers by, not just the Seahawks, but by the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans.  Each of their respective opponents are road favorites getting more than 85 percent of the betting action.

"Needless-to-say, Gambling911.com likes the Seahawks, Eagles and Texans to cover on Sunday," says Stroup.  "Something has to give."
