Seahawks vs. Falcons Betting Line at Seattle -3.5 but Over has the Statistical E

The Seahawks vs. Falcons betting line had 8-1 Seattle as a -3.5 road favorite against an Atlanta team that has thus far proven to be one of this season’s biggest disappointments.  Some books have raised the line to -5.  Seattle is seeing 65 percent of the betting action.  Bet online at SportsBettingOnline.com and receive up to 10 percent back on your losses weekly or get a 50 percent cash bonus up to $500.  Wager from your smartphone

Since 2010, Atlanta has won all three games in this series.  The Falcons knocked Seattle out of the post season with a two-point victory.

There is a reason why the Seahawks have only one loss on the season, however.  Cornerback Richard Sherman and safety Earl Thomas are tied for the NFL lead with four interceptions as the Seahawks have forced 21 in total while starting quarterback Russell Wilson has thrown multiple touchdown passes in four of the past five games and has 375 rushing yards.

Until recently, Atlanta enjoyed a solid home record over the past three seasons, losing only three at home Straight Up and six Against The Spread.  But times, they are a changin’.

As a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points, Seattle is a perfect 7-0 Against The Spread over the past three seasons.

The betting public is correct when moving the total in SEATTLE games 31.6% of the time over the past 3 seasons. (12-26).  The OVER 45 gets the edge here.   Interestingly enough, in all games where the total is between 42.5 and 49 points, Seattle is a solid 12-3 ATS during the last three seasons.
