Southern Mississippi finally failed to cover this week.  Bookies in this region have been scrambling to sign on with Pay Per Head establishments that help cut losses through live in-play wagering, propositions and online casino action. The online casinos in particular have been shown to ensure a larger percentage of money goes towards the house.

Southern Mississippi has gone 6-1 Against The Spread this season despite losing three games Straight Up.

The Golden Eagles first loss on the season was actually a Straight Up win against Texas San Antonio 32-10.

Jalen Richard and Ito Smith both rushed for over 100 yards, DJ Thompson and Michael Thomas went over 100 receiving and Southern Mississippi nearly tripled UTSA’s offensive output.
