The spread on the Seahawks-Browns game opened at -3 and has only moved down a half point at some online sportsbooks.  60 percent of those betting the spread here were backing the Browns.

Cleveland Browns President Mike Holmgren should know the Seahawks inside and out having been their head coach for nearly 10 years until 2008.  This doesn’t exactly bode well for a Seahawks team that has an abysmal road record despite a shock win against the Giants at the Meadowlands two weeks ago.

The Seahawks are 6-20 Against The Spread in their last 26 games as a road underdog and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.

The only thing that might possibly offset a Seattle poor road performance is a Browns disappointing home record.  Cleveland is 0-6 Against The Spread in their last 7 home games.  They are also 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a Straight Up loss.  The Browns are 1-7-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall.
